I feel so privileged to know Heather from Crayon Box Chronicles. I have admired Heather’s blog for a while — her bright and innovative ideas are always fun and creative!
HOP for HOPE is a blog hop to gather together around Heather and her family as they focus all of their time and energy on being with their sweet baby girl, Savannah Hope, a true miracle fighter!
Heather’s daughter, Savannah Hope, has a Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH). CDH is a birth defect of the diaphragm. Essentially with CDH there is a hole in the diaphragm that allows organs from the diaphragm to move into the chest and thereby compromising critical lung development. Since her birth on June 10th, she has been fighting for her life through surgeries and constant around-the-clock medical care. This is an incredibly difficult time for Heather, Nick, and their son Cayden.
Today, many bloggers are celebrating Heather’s work. You can also read more at HOP for HOPE. I hope this helps to raise awareness and funds for her family, as well as, hopefully, you will head on over to her blog and check out her posts!!
Here are 10 Activity Ideas for Sensory Play with Animals from Crayon Box Chronicles!!
This last one isn’t necessary a “sensory” activity — but this is my favorite post from Heather!!
I hope you will join with me in praying for dear Savannah and her family — that the Master Physician will wrap her in His Arms and heal her dear, sweet, fragile body. Dear God, give her life and breath!!
And I hope your children enjoy play time with animals!! Please check out the HOP for HOPE page to see how else you can help this dear family!!
