Welcome, thank you for visiting, I’m Amy. You’ll find my heart here — which is mostly with my children and teaching them to learn and love. I pray I can be a resource and encouragement to other parents and teachers.
{Check out our free 50+ printables here.}
I am blessed with my two angels: John ( 8/10 ) and May ( 9/12 ), and my husband, Marshall {their middle names}.
I am always learning.
I love to teach and nurture my children — I am blessed to be their constant as a stay-at-home mom.
I am passionate about early literacy and phonics and music — I have a Masters in Elementary Education, studied voice performance, and am a former Kindergarten teacher.
I am passionate about health, not medicine — I am a former vegan but now love and crave the goodness of saturated fat from animals. I love to eat. I don’t count calories.
I am passionate about homebirth and breastfeeding and cloth diapering and gentle parenting — but many of my friends “cry it out” and I don’t think they are horrible moms. I believe a baby is a baby who deserves to live and to live whole.
I am passionate about Israel and America {and I’m a Sergeant First Class in the Army Reserve}.
I love to laugh, easy craft, cook, eat, talk politics, garden/kill plants, argue and debate.
I am stubborn, but still loved and sought after by my Creator and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
I pray that I serve God with my words — and that my time spent here will not be time taken away from Him or my family.
