remembering with handprints
I want to remember my little sweethearts’ hands. I want to cherish the time when my son’s hands were so so chunky. And my daughter’s little graspy fingers.
I wrote about how we make handprints on canvas every year. I don’t have any pictures of the process because I am just praying that we get it right. I wanted to share a brief update picture. Here they are — their sweet hands. These are on full display in our living room. I just pick whatever colors strike my fancy. John is on the left hand side — age 2 1/2 and 3 1/2, and May is on the right — age 6 months and 18 months. We will be making these handprints for 18 years (yes, I will be that mom).
Have you ever seen anything more precious? I love handprints.
