our homeschooling days
More homeschool days.
Handwriting practice (affiliate link). We focus on this first thing every morning. John can get through 1-2 pages and we’ve seen some nice improvements.
We are still slooowly moving through the My Father’s World Kindergarten — here are our full kindergarten plans — I love the freedom this gives us. We loosely do the lessons, focusing on the Bible truth, handwriting, and science. And most of all, togetherness!
John loves to cut and glue, so he jumps right into distinguishing pictures with beginning sounds.
May loves to “work” at the table — she adores her brother. She is quite the artist and creator.
Lots of chalk on unusually warm days.
Creating words with our Montessori alphabet and alphabet objects.
Creating “m” words. Milk became “milko” and it was hilarious.
Counting with Spielgaben.
Seeing the moon on a bright evening with the telescope. We will miss this field and this home.
It is always nice to see the updates on your family.
I hadn’t realized you were moving. Best wishes to you on your new home.
