frog & turtle sensory bin
I am excited to share my Frog & Turtle Sensory Bin post I wrote over at Hip Homeschool Moms, where I am a Team Member!! Head on over and check it out!!
My children have seen an abundance of frogs and turtles this summer. In the yard, at the pond. And while I’d love (err) to have a house full of these, and other, beautiful creatures, that’s just not going to happen. Lately, we have been encouraging, and seeking out, little creatures (check out our bugs on our nature table).
Just this week, we explored a sweet toad. We had to be careful about how to touch and hold this little animal, but John and May were thrilled!
Sometimes it is fun to just play with these animals as we talk about them, so enter an adorable and simple sensory bin! We don’t have to worry about the safety of the animals with this sweet sensory bin! And combined with water play, what could be better? My children adore water play, and for the summer months, it’s all the want to do lately!
